SPA ETIQUETTE AND HOW TO SPA

We recommend you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior your scheduled treatment.

Please advise our staff on your individual needs and any special requirements you may have.

If you are pregnant or have any other condition that you feel we should be aware of, please inform our Spa receptionist.

Our Spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. We therefore ask you to switch your mobile phone to quiet and leave it and your camera in your locker.

Please respect the privacy of other guests, enjoy pampering and allow yourself to be completely immersed in the moment.

Children cannot accompany adults to the spa unless receiving a treatment.

Gentlemen should shave a few hours before any facial treatment to increase
comfort.

Our unique steam cave provides an ideal way to prepare the body for your treatment. Heat soothes muscles, increases circulation and melts away stress. The cool Forest Pools are a refreshing contrast to the hot steam, an experience you are likely to remember for a long time.

If you have enjoyed massage we suggest you to leave the oils on your skin for up to two hours before taking the shower.

You don’t need to bring anything along, unless you prefer to wear a swimsuit. For massage, we will provide you with a traditional Thai style outfit.

Our sauna is traditional Finnish dry sauna, please follow the instructions by your Spa therapist and follow timing guide lines (unless you are Finnish and already know how to use sauna).

Please remember to drink fluids, especially water during and after your time at Aava Spa.

 

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY

Four hours notice is required to cancel or amend any reserved treatment. If less than four hours 50% of the treatment fee will be charged. In case of no-show full treatment fee will be charged. All packages and treatments are non-refundable.
